1. Connect with an Experienced FHG Mentor  

The first step to joining FHG is to connect with one of our local mentors. These agents have years of experience with FHG and are active in the field every day. They’ll answer all your questions and guide you in determining whether this is the right opportunity for you. It’s a great chance to get insight from someone who truly understands the FHG system and culture.

2. Complete the Contracting Packet  

Once you’ve had a conversation with your mentor, it’s time to move forward with completing your contracting packet. Don’t worry—it’s a quick and simple process. The contract will outline your commission structure and renewal schedule, and there are no hidden fees or complicated requirements.

Unlike other agencies, you won’t need to complete Anti-Money Laundering (AML) training, provide Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance, or make an upfront purchase of leads. All you need is your basic Life Insurance Producer License, and you’re good to go. Plus, FHG isn’t a captive agency, so you’ll retain your independence as an agent while enjoying all the benefits of being part of our team.

During this meeting, your mentor will also work with you to schedule your training dates, ensuring you’re fully prepared to succeed.

3. Submit the Contract and Get Approved  

Once you’ve completed and submitted the contract, you’re almost there! Most contracts are processed and appointments are approved within just 48 hours. You’ll be officially contracted and ready to start.

4. Congratulations—You’re Now Part of the #1 Final Expense Agency in New England!  

Once your appointment is confirmed, you’re officially a member of the Family Heritage Group team! Now, it’s time to dive into our comprehensive field training program. Your mentor will guide you through the process, ensuring you’re set up for a long, successful career as a Final Expense Agent.
